A2LA Accreditation

GKS' Michigan facility is A2LA Accredited (American Association for Laboratory Accreditation) in Mechanical Testing and Calibration. This means the GKS laboratory meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 "General Requirements for the Competence of Calibration and Testing Laboratories," which is equivalent to the relevant requirements of the ISO 9000 series of standards and any additional program requirements in the Mechanical Testing field. GKS is also compliant with the QS-9000 standards developed by the AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group).
