Laser Design offers its SLP 3D laser scanning probes as an integrated option for 7-axis FARO^® Platinum, Titanium, Quantum or Advantage arms. Ultra-affordable and easy-to-use, the SLP laser probes combined with a FARO system are an ideal match for laser scanning on all types of parts. Available as a completely integrated system or as a retrofit kit for an existing FaroArm, the Laser Design Surveyor® FA-Series laser scanners are the ideal choice for portable scanning applications.

Laser Design is the only place you'll find an 8” (200mm) laser scanning probe designed for integration with FaroArms for the 7-axis configuration. The Dual Receptor design of the probe reduces the scanning motions to completely scan any kind of part or object and the lasers high speed makes scanning extremely fast.

The FaroArm retrofit kit includes choice of SLP laser probe and Surveyor Scan Control (SSC) software. SSC is used to capture the 3D scan data and output the 3D point cloud file for further processing with Reverse Engineering or Inspection software such as Geomagic's Studio and Qualify programs.
